Automation and scripting can bring increased efficiency and safety in the clinic. With rising cancer rates, adaptive planning, and shorter fractionation schedules, the workload in the clinic continues to increase. Scripting can automate tasks to save time and minimize human error.
In this session, we invite six speakers to share tools they use in radiation therapy to help all aspects of clinical workflow. From treatment planning to quality assurance, automation enables standardization and more comprehensive analysis that wasn’t previously possible. Learn the basics on how to get started with scripting and learn how others are using scripting to improve their clinical workflow. Speakers will also share practical tools that are available for clinical use.
Learning Objectives
1. Generating awareness of what scripting is capable of in the clinic
2. Identifying the benefits of automation in clinical workflow
3. Learning how to get started with scripts including the first steps to building your own and discovering what tools are currently available for use
