SAM Session Attendance Tracking
To assist attendees who require MOC, AAPM will offer many ABR approved SAM sessions. AAPM will use QR code
tickets for tracking of SAM session attendance. The ABR requires attendance verification. SAM questions will be
included as part of the online evaluation survey. SAM questions are no longer embedded in SAM presentations,
so audience interaction is not needed. In order to receive SAM credit, participants must answer the questions
online. There is no pass/fail. The administrative fee is $20. SAM credit for these sessions are available only
to attendees who complete the required online evaluation of the session and whose attendance has been verified.
Please note: At the beginning of each SAM session, you will need to drop one QR code ticket into the designated
bins near the session entrance for attendance verification.

Welcome Reception Tickets

Saturday, March 30 • 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center
Tickets: $60 each

The Welcome Reception is a great opportunity to mingle with your fellow colleagues and talk with the vendors. This year the reception will take place in the Exhibit hall, Osceola Ballroom D. Each ticket includes one drink ticket which can be exchanged for a beer or glass of wine. Light Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Please note! Before you purchase a ticket for the Welcome Reception, make sure that it is not included with your registration type and fee. Tickets may also be purchased on site at the AAPM Registration counter at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center if still available.

Student Registration Requirements

If you are not an AAPM Student Member, in order to qualify for this registration type, you must fax a letter from your Program Director that includes:

  • the name of the program
  • the name of the institution & its address
  • phone, fax & e-mail of the program director
  • type of degree that you expect to receive
  • your start date and expected end date of study

Failure to fax this letter will render your registration incomplete.

Resident/Post Doc Registration Requirements

If you are not an AAPM Resident Member, in order to qualify for this registration type, you must fax a letter from your Program Director or Supervisor that includes:

  • the name of the institution and its address
  • phone, fax & e-mail of the program director or supervisor
  • area of specialization (e.g., Radiation Oncology Physics, Diagnostic Imaging Physics, Nuclear Medicine, etc.)
  • start date and intended completion date

Failure to fax this letter will render your registration incomplete.
