Artificial intelligence (AI) is poised to become a routine part of clinical practice in many disciplines of health care, including diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy. The rapid evolution of AI methods, specialized lexicons and measurement metrics can be a challenge for clinicians as they try to make the best use of these emerging methods. Special effort in educating physicists, physicians and other clinical staff on how to use these tools as well as how to think critically about both their strengths and weaknesses is needed. This panel of experts will share their insights from their experiences in bringing clinicians up the learning curve for making the best use of AI in diagnostic imaging, treatment planning, and other areas of health care.
