2018 dues renewal notices were distributed in early October. You may pay your dues online or easily print out an invoice and mail in your payment. I am pleased to report that all 21 AAPM Chapters have elected to have HQ collect chapter dues. We hope that you will appreciate the convenience of paying your national and chapter dues with one transaction!

Andrew Gillis started in early September as the Staff Accountant working with the other members of the Finance Team. Specifically, Andrew is working on the monthly closing of the books of record, account reconciliation, and journal entry adjustments. Although he just "officially" joined the team, Andrew provided temporary accounting services through two recent AAPM year-end audit processes and is very familiar with AAPM processes and the HQ team.
Congratulations go out to AAPM's Membership Manager, the former Ms. Jennifer Hudson on her October 7, 2017 marriage to Matthew Richardson. I know that you will join me in wishing the happy couple many happy years as Mr. and Mrs.
On October 26, we said "until our paths cross again" to Janet Harris, AAPM's Accounting Assistant since 2012. Janet retired from "working" to spend more time with her grandchildren (and other family members too)!
Although change is never easy and it is hard to imagine not having Janet as part of the team, we were excited to welcome Janelle Priestly in early October as the new Accounting Assistant. Janelle has extensive accounting experience, including many years with the new accounting software that AAPM will be implementing in early 2018. Janet has worked hard to prepare Janelle and I am certain that she will be a great asset.
