Preparing for a cyber-attack in Radiation Oncology
The risk of cyber-attacks keeps increasing and Radiation Oncology is no exception; it is even more vulnerable. Preparing and implementing a comprehensive prevention plan is essential. It is also equally important to prepare an emergency contingency plan which enables treatments to continue even after the successful attack. The necessity of the emergency plan is often ignored, which leads to a significant delay of treatments after an attack.

Experience and recovery from the Anchorage 7.1 Earthquake
On November 30, 2018, at 8:29 a.m. AKST a magnitude 7.1 earthquake hit the city of Anchorage. This session will discuss initial response, equipment tests performed, and recovery actions in response to the event.

4. Discuss potential clinical delivery issues (e.g., vault door failure, isocenter recentering)
