The purpose of this session is to understand more complex clinical troubleshooting in diagnostic imaging that goes beyond routine testing. Scenarios will be given that walk through the process of identifying a problem and the steps to resolution. Case studies will be presented from a variety of clinical areas such as: Mammography, CT, Fluoroscopy, MRI, Displays, and Radiation Dose Monitoring Software.

1. Understanding the different methods and extent of troubleshooting problem items
2. Understanding the limitations of basic performance evaluations
3. Understanding the impact of equipment failures on patient care and image quality
