Purpose: The quality of computed tomography (CT) for cardiac imaging can influence the diagnosis of cardiac disease. We designed a dynamic cardiac phantom with simulated coronary artery to control the quality of CT-based cardiac imaging.

Methods: Three-dimensional model design and three-dimensional printing techniques were used to design the patient's heart model and three different degrees of stenotic coronary artery to simulate cardiac infarction. The heart loop pumping device is then used to simulate a heart rate adjustable heartbeat that includes a conventional heartbeat and arrhythmia mode. In the normal beat mode, the heart rate setting is 60-120bpm and can be adjusted via the button. The real heart rate is displayed on the screen. In the arrhythmia mode, the actual value is randomly switched, and the screen displays "irregular". The configured barium sulfate solution was injected into the coronary artery for CT quality control. Finally, the patient can be pre-diagnosed clinically based on the detected case data.

Results: The designed heart vocal beat frequency and coronary CT image are very similar in size, shape and structure to the patient, and the scanned medical record data is very accurate, which provides strong evidence for clinical preoperative diagnosis.

Conclusion: Cardiac membrane aspiration device successfully simulated heart rate with different heart rate and CT quality control scan detected case data of coronary artery. The heart and coronary artery models designed for this patient with myocardial infarction are of great significance in CT quality control and preoperative diagnosis.
