Andrea Browne, the Diagnostic Medical Physicist in the Department of Engineering at the Joint Commission will discuss the current state of this program as it relates to the practice of diagnostic medical physics. A review of the requirements, recommendations for compliance, as well as a discussion of the common areas of noncompliance will be discussed. There will also be ample time for questions and answers at the end of the session.

Learning Objectives:

2. Identify and address the issues that most often result in surveyor findings
3. Understand best practices to ensure compliance with the JC standards
