The essence of project management is to get all involved parties thinking in the same direction. The Medical Physicist's involvement can vary depending on the work environment, the understanding of the project scope and most importantly the interactions with everyone else involved in the project. What is the difference between persuasion and influence? Understanding how the Medical Physicist can impact changing others behavior by using influence is integral to not only managing projects but also daily survival in the work environment. Examples will be presented to demonstrate basic project management concepts . Each speaker will highlight how the medical physicist helped or hindered a project.
